GHOSTBOND BondBreak skin-friendly glue remover, formerly Ultra-Safe

GHOSTBOND BondBreak: The New Name for Ultra-Safe Remover

GHOSTBOND's skin-friendly adhesive remover, previously called Ultra-Safe, is now GHOSTBOND BondBreak. The new name came with GHOSTBOND's 2026 rebrand, BondBreak arrives in its new packaging from 2 November 2026, and it is now the first step in a two-part removal routine with BondGone.

What GHOSTBOND BondBreak is

BondBreak is a skin-friendly adhesive remover designed to make taking off a hair system easier and more comfortable. It is applied during removal, directly at the scalp, where it helps break down the adhesive bond so the system can be lifted with less pulling and tugging.

It suits both professional takedowns and regular at-home maintenance.

Who it suits

BondBreak suits anyone who removes a bonded hair system, and those who find removal uncomfortable. Because it is designed for use on the scalp, it is the product to reach for first.

Key features

  • Helps break down adhesive bonds
  • Designed for direct application to the scalp
  • Supports gentle hair system removal

Where it fits in your routine

Apply BondBreak along the bonded area and give it time to work before lifting the system gently. Once the system is off, clean the remaining residue from the base with BondGone, which is designed for the hair system rather than the skin, then wash the scalp and hair with LiftAway Wash. Our guide to removing hair system glue and tape covers the full process.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between BondBreak and BondGone?

BondBreak is designed for use on the scalp to release the bond during removal. BondGone is a citrus-based residue remover for the hair system and tools only, and should not be used on the skin.

Is BondBreak the same as Ultra-Safe?

Yes. GHOSTBOND has renamed Ultra-Safe as BondBreak as part of its 2026 rebrand.
